Obama Links
We all must be responsible and vote with our eyes wide open to the truth.
These links offer an opportunity to explore important information. I stay away from blogs because when I am seeking facts I don’t want opinions. Find the facts then form your own opinions on who you want leading our country.

Adopt A Platoon
Steve wrote:
“On there I adopted 2 soldiers. Basically you write mail, and you send care packages. From the list of ‘ideas’ and from asking some questions, it appears the army gives soldiers a set of supplies and if they use them, break them, they get worn, its TDB. (seeing boot socks on the list shocked me out). Anyway I think it’s a way better more tangible than sticking a magnet on the car!
Just wanted to tell you about it because I know you often cover or say very supportive things re: the troops on your show, and are likely to be asked for ways people can help.”

Show Correction about Lynn Dejac
I have a correction to make from my show on 2/16/2008. Lynn Dejac grew up six doors down from the bar that her mother purchased. The bar was not purchased until after Lynn, who was the youngest in her family, turned 18 years old. Lynn managed the bar for her mother as an adult. Her mother worked as a switchboard operator while Lynn was growing up.
