I want to thank Assemblyman Jim Hayes for giving us a few minutes of his time on Saturday. The fact that we are 227 billion dollars in debt and the State “Budget” calls for over 11 billion dollars of borrowing this year is devastating to anyone who cares about New York.
It is fitting that as we approach tax time that Joe Bannister joined us from California. He was a Criminal Investigator with the IRS for 5 ½ years. His story is a fascinating one and I strongly encourage everyone to read about his journey. His entire story can be found at givemeliberty.org that is the website for the We The People Foundation. This organization, lead by Bob Schultz is well worth looking in to. Another site that was mentioned was freedomtofacism.com. The book I am currently reading is entitled CrackingTheCode by Peter Eric Hendrickson. The advice that Joe Bannister gave is that we all need to read and know what the constitution says, so that if we are ever called to sit on a jury involving the IRS, we can be educated jurors.
