To all of you who think I have lost my mind. A friend of mine sent me an e-mail asking how I could support a pro abortion candidate like Jack and not a pro life candidate like Jane. After all the National Right to Life organization supported her.
Jane is also pro choice….but only in the first trimester. This is actually, to me, a worse position because she calls herself pro life. If she gets elected we will never have an option of a pro life candidate because she will serve for the next twenty years. With her money it will be nearly impossible to primary her. Jane has also said she would support the compromise which would fund Planned Parenthood. At least Jack Davis is adamant against federal funding of abortion. I am looking at this election differently because to me everything emanates from this fundamental question of life. If you do not think a defenseless child has a right to live unless it is 13 weeks old I cannot support your winning an election that will impact me for years to come. I actually had her soundbite that stated her opinion of abortion only in the first trimester. 88% of ALL abortions take place in the first trimester. Jack Davis, if elected, would serve 15 months and almost immediately following his election there would be people coming out to run primaries. The same would happen with a Kathy Hochul win. If either of them wins then we actually have a chance to get a pro life candidate in 15 months. Someone who believes you can kill a child up until 12 weeks but not after is a phony and the Right to Life group coming out saying that she is close enough to support makes me lose ALL respect for them.
